Affiliate marketing offers an easy way to make money online as long as you know how to do it properly. It also works well if you don’t have your own website yet or don’t feel like investing the time and effort into creating one from scratch. To start making money through affiliate marketing, just follow these six steps below.
1) Amazon Associates
Amazon Associates is Amazon’s affiliate marketing program. If you have products that you want to sell on Amazon, then it’s worth it for you to sign up for Amazon Associates and earn commission for sales made through your link. To get started with Amazon Associates, simply head over here and create an account.
2) Reward Style
RewardStyle is one of my favorite online shopping reward portals. Rewards Style allows you to get money back for shopping through special links. When you click these links, it triggers an inquiry and tells companies that you liked what they posted on Facebook and/or Twitter. Each social share is worth $0.025 per product, which can really add up!
3) CJ Affiliate by Conversant
When it comes to affiliate marketing, many bloggers and online entrepreneurs like to create their own custom affiliate program with their own unique rules. But who wants to do that? It’s easy enough—and often free—to join an existing affiliate network like CJ Affiliate by Conversant. This way, you don’t have to spend your time building out your own infrastructure; instead, you can focus on creating engaging content for your audience.
4) ShareASale
As its name suggests, ShareASale is an affiliate marketing network with more than 1,000 online retailers and networks. This means that if you want to sell products from different companies (not only just one), then you can do so through ShareASale. A rep once told me it’s like having access to eBay, Amazon and Google all on one network. Check out ShareASale for yourself here.
5) Rakuten Linkshare
Rakuten Linkshare is a popular affiliate network that often has high paying offers available. You don’t need to be an expert marketer, or even have your own website, to make money using Rakuten Linkshare—the company sells many software products and allows you to plug into their system with just one click! This offer is not always available but when it’s used you can earn $50 for FREE.
6) Zapier
Not everyone has their own website, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still participate in affiliate marketing. In fact, with Zapier, you don’t even need your own domain. When I say Zapier, you probably think of their main business of connecting apps for users—but did you know that Zapier also connects many popular affiliate networks? If not, then it might be time to give them another look!
